May's Design Box: Wedding Dress
Designers will receive a box with one vintage or modern, high-end, designer wedding gown, originally retailing for upwards of $1000.00 or more. These wedding gowns are highly unique in nature and will be chosen at random. Designers could receive a gown that is heavily beaded, embroidered, made from silk/satin fabrics, and/or have yards of slip netting attached to the underskirt. Various notions will also be included but designers should be aware of an unexpected twist…a little old, a little new, something borrowed, something blue. Each box will be sent out with a description of the monthly theme, along with rules and regulations.
Each eye-catching gown has been worn at the altar and is now ready to be reimagined as sustainable street wear. Do you have what it takes to altar fashion?
